Based in Haywards Heath, West Sussex, the practice was founded by Andrew and Laura France who have in excess of 20 years combined experience in property both locally and nationally.
Andrew France BSc (Hons) MRICS
Andrew is a co-founder and Managing Director of Andrew France & Co Ltd with over nine years experience in commercial agency. Prior to setting up the practice, Andrew spent three years working for a Brighton based practice where his principal role was to consolidate and expand the Mid Sussex commercial agency division, whilst also undertaking professional services such as valuation, development appraisals, rent review and lease renewal work. Prior to this Andrew worked within Top Four surveying firms in London's West End, in commercial agency, auctioneering and professional services.Laura France MSc MRICS Dip DEA
Laura is a co-founder and Director of Andrew France & Co Ltd with over eleven years experience in the property industry. Prior to Andrew France & Co Ltd, Laura spent eight years working within the Valuation Department of DTZ Debenham Tie Leung, one of the worlds largest surveying firms. Here she carried out commercial valuation work for secure lending purposes and monthly / quarterly valuations on behalf of large pension funds and other blue chip corporate clients. The largest portfolio she had responsibility for was worth in excess of £1billion and contained a broad geographical spread of commercial properties.Joanna Steadman BSc (Hons) MRICS
Joanna joined Andrew France & Co Ltd in September 2009 as a consultant surveyor with 13 years property experience. Prior to Andrew France & Co Ltd Joanna worked for CBRE and Schroders Property Investment Management, specialising in Landlord & Tenant and Asset Management work across all property sectors. Having worked as an in-house surveyor and a property advisor, Joanna understands the issues that are important to both owners and occupiers and is able to offer comprehensive and considered advice. Joanna is also a qualified Energy Assessor and an experienced commercial property valuer. She has acted for a number of high street and sub prime lenders, on a diverse range of properties across southern England. Joanna grew up, and continues to live, in Mid Sussex and has a comprehensive knowledge of the area.John Ayling
John joined Andrew France & Co Ltd in September 2009 to assist with the expansion of the business and development of the residential sales department. A resident in Sussex for over 30 years, John has been working in residential agency for all of that time and was up until recently a partner in Weber Brown for over 20 years. He brings considerable experience to the practice and is able to offer pre-market valuations and general marketing advice, essential elements in successful property sales. John is happy to visit you in your home to discuss the right approach tailored to suit your needs.
