Andrew France & Co is a family run business, established in 2008 by husband and wife team, Andrew and Laura France. Andrew and Laura are both qualified Chartered Surveyors and members of the RICS. Together they have built a thriving professional practice and commercial agency and have developed a reputation for providing a professional, personal service.
Following the success of the commercial department, Andrew France & Co have been asked by several clients if they would also deal with their residential properties and as such the residential department has emerged organically and is steadily growing through word of mouth.

No, Andrew France & Co is not just another Estate Agency, they really are something very different. Who else can offer the following:
- From the very start clients are allocated a member of the team, who will be an RICS Chartered Surveyor. That same person will act on behalf of the client all the way from the initial meeting to assess value, through to completion. Having a single point of contact reduces the stress of selling your home and enables a truly tailor made service to be delivered.
- Clients will have full contact details for their allocated team member. This includes a land line, mobile telephone number and email address. Andrew France & Co understand that another great source of stress when selling your home stems from not being able to contact your agent whenever the need arises and as such they are even on hand outside office hours.
- No upfront fees are required and no external contractors will visit your home. Andrew France & Co are qualified to produce the mandatory Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) required when selling or letting a residential property and can produce professional floor plans and marketing brochures. Your allocated team member will handle every aspect of your sale. This is both reassuring from a personal and home security point of view, but will also take up much less of your time as the EPC, floor plan and brochure measurements are carried out at the same time and you will not have to take time off work or wait in for external contractors.
- Appointments out of office hours are available. Having worked in London for many years prior to setting up Andrew France & Co, Andrew and Laura both appreciate how difficult it can be fitting in appointments during working hours and how precious your days off are – not to be wasted on Estate Agents! They therefore offer out of normal office hours appointments tailored to suit each individual.
- Chartered Surveyors think outside the box! As chartered surveyors, Andrew France & Co not only look at the obvious value of your home but will also assess its less obvious potential. The most common is the development potential of a large garden but there are many different scenarios which make certain properties highly desirable to our database of developers and investors as well as potential home owners.

Each property is assessed and advertising is tailored to suit, so as well as going in the local paper and popular property websites, adverts show up in other media and locations unused by other Estate Agents but to state them all here would be to give away too many trade secrets!
